Everyone knows that a human stands on the top of the biological ladder. But what makes a human different from all other creatures? Language and speech!!! Of course, some animals can communicate with each other with the help of sounds, smells and movements. But only human can speak!!! And it is a present to humans from creator. According to the Great Russian critic. V. G. Bellinsky: You can kill by words, you can save by words, You can create and destroy by words! According to the great Asian thinker Saadi: “Words may be, sweet as honey, to pleasure the audience, words may be sharp, as blade, to hurt the audience, words may be, like fire, they burn the hearts of the audience, rouse them to act, words maybe, like water, they make calm the listeners, and decrease the malice of the crowd.” The ability to control the “word” makes a speaker more impressive. But how can we make our speech more effective and our language richer? Let us open some secrets, how we can control the “word”. The first thing that every speaker should have is sincerity. The speaker always tries to convince the audience by his speech. But how can he convince somebody, if he does not convince himself? A person has the most impressive speech, when he
Once the topic of the speech is chosen, and the speaker has studied a lot of materials to confirm, he should work on his nonverbal communication. Nonverbal communication plays a great role in one-s speech. He can convince the audience by his nonverbal communication. Everybody feels pleasure when somebody smiles at him/her. When a person makes a presentation, he should use his facial expressions. It should not be something planned (when a smile or any other facial expression is planned, it looks fake); it should be a natural expression. A speaker can reach it, if he practices. He just needs the desire, time and a little patience! Another type of nonverbal communication is gesticulation. Gestures help listeners to receive information from the speaker, and in most cases, it is more understandable than words. Gesticulations should be natural too. To achieve this one just needs to practice. But in some cases, even the tune of the speaker-s voice can change everything. His voice should be calm during most of his speech. He should change the intonation only if he wants the audience to pay more attention to this part of his speech. He should also train his breathing. To achieve results of nonverbal communication one just needs to practice. Do not be sad if the first steps were unsuccessful, have more patience. The climbing up the ladder to becoming a great speaker takes time. But according Russian proverb: “Roots of education are sour, but fruits are sweet!!!” I think all my words were not very impressive without live example. The history remembers a lot of great speaker of old and present. They could burn the hearts of the audience or decrease the malice of the crowd. They were the “lords of word”, wizards that can make the best from the simple! The example of such speakers is Olzhas Suleimenov. I think you do not know him, but it is not decrease pr
