“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. This is the first verse of the bible and is base to the entire bible. By accepting this verse we are saying that God is our All-powerful creator and we have to accept this before we can totally understand the bible. The first two books of Genesis can be summarized fairly easy. The first book Genesis is basically saying that God created man uniquely. The second book of genesis is saying that God gives Adam food, Eve and one restriction. Genesis is the most important book of the bible because it lays a great foundation for understanding the bible and our faith.

In these first two chapters we have learned that God created the world and brought order out of disorder. God is glorified and man is happy when the basic creation order is established and kept.
