An eye for an eye. What does it mean? It means if someone does something wrong to you, you can do the same thing to them? That is right. If someone slept with my wife, would I be able to sleep with theirs just so its fair and even. If someone accidentally killed someone, would some be able to kill him or her? If someone were to steal would the person they stole from be able to do the same to them? It wouldn’t be moral or ethical. So why do we have capital punishment? It is a very touchy subject, which nobody agrees on. What isn’t there to agree on? Murder is the killing of another life. Capital punishment is the killing of a human being who did something really bad. But it is still murder. How can people take the life of a human? Even though they committed a crime?
