Naturally I wanted to just take the money into a suitcase and run with it, but that was not an option. I told the teller to put all the money into checking. Her eyes lit when she saw the check and looked at me as if she found a husband. It is amazing what money can do to a person or those that they interact with. Excited as ever to have my car back, I immediately drive to my best friend’s house. I tell him the unfathomable story of how I came into money. After he joked around a bit how we should go look for more missing dogs instead of school, I told him what I was going to do with my money as far as we were concerned, I decided to buy us season tickets to the New York Islanders. He was thrilled. I took him for a ride in my car to Nassau Coliseum where we went to purchase the tickets. The tickets cost 7,200 dollars. I soon drove my friend home and was off to my girlfriend’s house.

The last acquisition I made was to look for a house. Within a week I had purchased a house in the beautiful town of Quogue, Long Island for 1.2 million dollars. With the booming real estate, I thought this would be a good investment and eventually a nice place to live. I will rent the house out and soon make money off of it that way in addition to the increasing price of the house value.

After spending nearly 2 million in a week I decided to put my wallet away. This was more than enough for me. I started a part-time job delivering auto parts to local mechanic shops for 7 dollars per hour. This gave me some spending money away from the 10 million and also took up some of my free time I was looking to get rid of. Now I hope that my family and I can live at ease without struggling to pay bills and put food on the table.
