UNIX versus Windows, Regarding power and file manipulation

When posed with answering the question regarding whether I agree or disagree with the power and file manipulation control of UNIX over/versus Windows, my answer would be a resounding agree! One need not look any further than this week’s lecture notes to view the file manipulation power of the UNIX OS. I’ve been a huge supporter/user of the Windows OS and I can’t see where Windows even comes close to matching UNIX in this regard. There are a number of reasons why I agree that UNIX wins this battle.
