I think that Jerry Landers handles the situation of meeting God face-to-face at first with such uncertainty. Jerry does not believe in religion itself, so when he encounters God he does not know how to react. Personally, if God were to appear before me, I would not know how to react to the situation. My first reaction to meeting God would probably be uncertainty. I would at first think that it’s a joke of some sort. I would question his presence, like why He came down from heaven in human form?
