· Schedule proper appointments for kids when needed (DDS, MD, haircuts, etc.).

· Never leave car with less than ¼ tank of gas (charge account available @ Texaco).

· Pick up and drop off dry cleaning on Mondays.

· Always have BLACK garbage bags in outside trashcans.

· Always have WHITE garbage bags in kitchen trashcan.

· Never leave ½ full soft drinks anywhere, including garbage can – empty first.

· Have proper maintenance done on car @ scheduled service times.

· Replace toilet paper and make sure an extra role is kept in cabinet nearest to toilet at all times!

· Limit sugar intake, no “trash” (sugar busters for kids cookbook).

· Limit TV (30 minutes per day, not including French tapes).

· Keep thermostats between 74-75 for air conditioning and 69 for heat.

· Do not park or drive on the grass.

· Return everything to its proper place after being used.

· Provide kids with healthy meals at all times (Organic Foods

The very first thing I do is try and give the kids a pleasant “Good Morning,” then I: finish dressing the kids, feed them breakfast (organic food), pack their lunches (organic food), get their book sacks ready, check the calendar to see what is planned for the day, transfer events/ times into my palm pilot, brush their teeth and hair, pick up after the kids having to leave the house immaculate, get them buckled up into the SUV, make sure the French audio tapes are qued correctly, and off to school safe and sound by 8:00a.m..

· Always make sure there is a proper amount of food and drinks in the house at all times. (Shopping is to be done @ Sandra’s Health Food Store or Albertson’s if needed).

After watching the kids walk into their classrooms safely, I exhale, fall

It is now 3:30p.m., the first scheduled event of the afternoon is karate. I help the kids change into their mini ninja uniforms and advise them to kick away. The whole time I watch them through the one-way glass I am wishing how much I could stay, but Sandra is calling for me at the health food store(Sandra’s Health Food). Karate lasts only until 4:30p.m. so I really have to hustle in order to grocery shop, bring the groceries to the Smith’s house putting them up in proper form, and return back to karate by 4:30p.m.. I don’t know how I do it, but it always seems to work out on time. I think maybe it’s the leer jet that gets me around so fast! Now off to piano for 5:00p.m., and by the way at this time the last thing in the world two little boys want to do after kicking a lot of ass for an hour is sit down and play piano gracefully with an old lady that wears big glasses. That whole piano commotion lasts for about an hour, then it’s off back to the Smith house to start on homework and get supper going at the same time. As hard as it is for the kids and I to get everything accomplished, we get it done because we all secretly know inside that it has to get done.
