“The Lovable losers”

When someone asks you what is your favorite thing to do, what is your response? Well mine is simple I love to go see the cubs play. Ever since I have been a little kid I have been going to cub’s games and seeing the oldest franchise in professional baseball play, usually losing but that’s really not what’s important to cub’s fans. I know that might sound ridiculous but its not about winning when you the longest losing streak in professional sports. There are three things that are truly important to cubs fans, first being Wrigley field, next would be The Fans and most important, the alcohol. I mean how do you except fans to accept losing so well, it’s because they usually don’t remember who we played, let alone who won. If you have ever had the pleasure of attending a cub’s game then this would all make perfect sense to you!

I. Wrigley Field is the second-oldest ballpark in the majors behind Boston's Fenway Park (1912). Wrigley Field, which was built in 1914, is playing host to Major League Baseball for the 90th season in 2003.

ield consisted of more than 4,000 yards of soil and four acres of bluegrass.

C. Wrigley Field was a typical baseball park till, The Wrigley Field bleachers and scoreboard were constructed in 1937 when the outfield area was renovated to provide improved and expanded seating ... the original scoreboard still remains intact.( the score-by-innings and the pitchers' numbers are changed by hand ... the numbers signaling batter, ball, strike and out, along with "H" and "E" to signify hit and error, are eyelets.)

not essential or maybe it’s the atmosphere that Wrigley puts out for you.
