How can an immigrant from Austria, who started his political career with many failures and defeats, become a dictator in Germany, lead the country into World War II, and be responsible for the holocaust, the killing of millions of Jews? This is a very hard question to answer, as many factors led to Hitler’s rise in power in January 1933.But certainly there are two main factors: The political instability of the Democratic institutions and the whole system of the Weimar Republic and the deep economic crisis in Germany, which caused misery and unemployment for many Germans. 2.
