Indians
The American Indian lived in scattered groups in each parts of America ( from Greenland in the North to Tierra del Fuego in South America).There were many different kinds of Indians. Some of them lived in very complex groups with complicated economic and political structures and technologies and some lived in small family groups. Not all Indians hunted their food. Many of them used the fertile country and became farmers. Their accommodations depended on the different climatic conditions in America: Many Indians lived in tepees, others in plank houses, some tribes lived in mud houses and the Eskimoes live up to the today's day in igloos. Before the European settlers came to America, the transportation facilities of the Indians were limited. The typical forms of transport were either walking or travelling by canoe. The Spanish brought horses to America and the Indian tribes quickly accepted them. The Indians believe that earth was created for all people, that it therefore can’t belong to anyone. They believe that plants, trees, animals etc. have a soul and therefore nature
But the dream of social living together hasn’t been fully realized. You still find more unemployment people among Blacks than among Whites, more broken families and teenage mother. Also alcoholism and drug addiction are largely “black” problems. have to be respected. But they were taught by the whites over it a better one. Their land was taken away from the Indians. The whites exterminated animals and plants, took the country under their possession and cultivated it. The different Indian tribes dissolved.
