Garden Project

For our garden project, we decided on a pirate theme to go along with our schools mascot. When we created our garden, we added a wide variety of flowers, plants, garden furniture, and accessories.

When we were deciding on flowers we wanted to pick ones that would look attractive in the garden but also would be relatively easy to maintain. The Shasta daisy needs to be feed every spring and they need to be picked. They are 4-5 inches across, and have pure white petals and small yellow centers. The Swiss Giant Pansy’s need to be kept moist, fed monthly, and need their faded blooms frequently. If winter gets severe, we should provide a light mulch after the ground freezes. Pansies are large, colorful, delicately fragrant, and come in a wide
