Beowulf: The Embodiment of Anglo-Saxon Ideals

Many people aspire to have the qualities of a hero, but few achieve these ambitious goals. The Anglo-Saxons idealized many of the qualities in men that we should still idealize and honor today. His strength is what sets him apart from any other man on earth, and is what makes him someone who the Germanic tribes idealize.

Beowulf is generous, strong, loyal and so much more. He thinks about others before himself and always remains loyal to his people. Becaus
