Shadow of a Vampire is a movie with a closed narration. Although there are still some unanswered questions, the central questions are answered. The film tells the story of how Murnau made his vampire movie. The central idea of creating such a film is answered and the subject matter that was Murnau’s incredible passion for his art is emphasized. Unanswered questions remain about who is responsible for the deaths of various cast and crew. Based on the captions at the beginning of the film, Murnau escaped blame and lived a life of filmmaking legend.
