Entering this semester I had currently only used any CAD software for one semester. The first thing that I liked about IDEAS was that it used a lot of the same commands as the software I had used prior. This made the process of creating my basic parts a lot easier because I knew what some of the commands did. Another thing I liked about IDEAS is that it had the history tree. It made life easy sometimes when I really did not understand why something was happening so I could go back and take a look to see what I had done. The next thing that I liked about IDEAS was that it had the ‘quick’ buttons. By ‘quick’ buttons I mean F1, F2, F3, along with the mouse.
