Problem: Which air temperature over different types of land, sand and dirt, and water will increase fastest? Hypothesis: I think that the temperature will rise the most over land, more specifically sand. I think this because as in the world, the hottest places on earth are the deserts. The sand test is like a little desert in a beaker. Independent Variable: It is the type of surface. Dependent Variable: It is the rate of temperature increase. Controlled Variables: The variables are the size of the jars, the type of jars, the type of plastic wrap, the position under the heat lamp, same starting temperature, and the same amount of each surface. The last one means that we used 200ml of water, 200ml of sand, and so on. Safety Information: This experiment is quite safe. The most dangerous thing is getting burn
