“Yesterday, Dec. 7, 1941 - a date which will live in infamy - the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.” A speech given by President D. Roosevelt during the 1940’s, after the chaotic bombing on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, stated the events taken place on that tragic day. An empire that they thought was at peace attacked the United States. An empire that they thought was at peace bombed the United States. Due to the invasion by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor in the 1940’s, the United States entered the war for the necessity to preserve all that country represents.

The affairs of the Japanese, during the 1930’s, were an important role leading to the destruction of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, which brought the United States into the Second World War. “The road to war between Japan and the United States began in the 1930’s when differences over China drove the two nations apart. In 1931 Japan conquered Manchuria, which until then had been part of China.
