The issue of Global Warming

Global warming is a unique problem facing humankind that requires changes in peoples’ lifestyles to combat it and the associated depleting resources. My study of global warming came from four articles discussing varied points concerning resources and action needed for change. The first two articles deal about global warming, while the next two deal with resources and consumption. The ideas from the articles offered me a chance to examine and decide upon our relation and importance toward the future of global warming and resources.

The issue of global warming is Bill Mckibben’s “The Environmental Issue from Hell.” He wants to know what it is, and how it is influencing our earth. To understand the issue and bring attention to the facts of the issue one must think the problem as a moral question. The morality of global warming is that species will disappear, disasters will become harder to handle and major problems will be left for our posterity to fix. In order to launch a campaign against global warming one must assign symbols. Some symbols include SUVs, bigger everything, and airplanes.
