Nature of Man in ``The Lord of the Flies`` by Golding
I believe Golding’s view of the nature of man is that we all have an animal like nature. We all have a so-called beast inside are head fighting with are conscience. If not kept in check by a civilization it would be let loose. Even thou we have a government are true nature slips out ever so often. The government is in control over are civilization and tries to keep are animal like nature in check. In are own nature we have a conscience that fights the beast like nature by building what we call a civilization to keep are animal nature in control.
In a civilization we try to make rules to keep are animal like nature in check. In the ``Lord of the Flies`` we see how Ralph makes the first rules, ``Conch? That’s what the shell is called. I believe that the beasts inside are conscience eventually looses the battle it gets tired and the beat take over. At the end the beast in them came out, their so-called civilization crumbled. The leader lost his power the rules were broken the jobs abandon. What happen? Golding showed no mater what the civilization or society tries to keep are true nature in check it comes out in some kind of form. In the case of the children it came out beast like and vicious. My view of Goldings view of nature and man was correct we all have an animal like nature a so-called beast inside are head fighting are conscience, and are conscience uses civilization to keep the beast inside of us in control. But, eventually will are government be able to keep us under control. Or has it already lost.
In a civilization there are different jobs for the different people. By everyone having a job it keeps them occupied and their true nature
