Made Diary Entry of Aristophanes

So… anyways… about my day! This morning I woke up to the pitter patter of rain on my rooftop. The clouds were oh so gray… what a beautiful sight indeed… NOT. What kind of nonsense is this? Rain is the most dreadful thing ever! It ruins my almost non-existent hair! Oh! That gives me an idea… what an inspiration… gray clouds… I must start writing my new play! I shall call it… “The Clouds”. Off to the theater I go! That is where I write my plays…

The theater I work with is marvelous; the theater of Dionysus. I remember long time ago drama did not exist! How absurd, fortunately one man came up with an idea to add speaking actors into the performances of the choral songs and dances (which occurs on many occasions throughout Greece). Democracy gives spirit of openness and a rise to new fields of thought. I, on the other hand explore new depths of those odd creatures (humans) exposing their hopes, fears and vanities of the so called great (not as great as me!) heroes of the past and the political leaders of the present.

Ah that reminds me, I need new songs for the orchestra to play! They play such harmonic music… just by the lyre! There are two types of lyres just incase you intellectual people did not know. The lyra was played by amateurs and plucked by their own hands unlike the kithara which was played by professionals (such as my orchestra) which was plucked with a plectrum.

The sophists were against Socrates and many people believ
