A day not forgotton
I remember a few years back, as the family just taking in the sighI remember a few years back, relaxing and taking in the sights in Las Vegas. Everything was so beautiful, bright lights everywhere. I thought I was dreaming. One day we just decided to do something spontaneous and explore. It was during the month of June when we both just wanted to get away for a few days. As we waited for the limo to pick us up, I started to get nervous, being that this was my very first time on a plane and didn’t know what to expect. Everyone I talked to had something to say about their first time being scary, or just an experience they have never forgotten. One thing they forgot to tell was the funny feeling you gets in your stomach when the plane takes off and lands, or when you in the air and your ears start popping. Now we are at the airport and getting ready to board, I saw how huge the plane was and I knew everything was going to be fine. Well, it’s after 12:00 in the afternoon and we been up in the air for a while, they served us lunch and pretty soon we should arrive. Being up in the air for such a long time I started to antsy, and fidgety, it’s dark and it’s beginning to rain. You could hear it hitting against the plane,
now I’m starting to get real nervous and I started to pray. The plane starts to jolt and the pilot gets on the intercom and explains that we are only experiencing air pockets. As, I looked around and saw no one else was worrying about this so, I started to relax . I started to look out of the window and saw that we are about to land and you could see so many bright lights and hotels. Everyone started to prepare for departure and was getting so excited. Once we were in the hotel, all you could here was the ringing of slot machines. Every hotel, you experience an adventure, depending on the name of the hotel like the Excalibur, this is where we stayed, it’s was a big castle with so many colors, it also, had trumpets outside. While other hotels had rain forest, white polar bears, tigers, magician acts, boat shows. The Excalibur had the Fantasy Faire Arcade and shops. Their theme is back during the time of knights in shining armor, princesses, kings and queens. In the hotel, there was an arena for the Tournament of Kings. No one wanted to sleep so we went to eat at an all you can eat buffet. On next day we got an early start, and went to the MGM Grand Hotel. This hotel took up a whole city block and in the back of the building there was a big amusement park. There were shops, in one of the lounge room the ceiling was shining with a blue light for a sho
