Abortion: The choice should be give

In a world filled with new opportunities for women, the idea of an unwanted pregnancy is outdated. Abortion is choice that women should have. Abortion should be an option for women that are in their first trimester of their pregnancy, as well as women that have been raped and for women who experience high health risks to themselves as well as to their fetus.

Primarily, most women do not know they are pregnant until they are late with their periods and even then some tests may have a negative outcome. With this in mind women must have some leeway into the termination of their fetus. Further, women should have the ultimate choice when the issue involves their own bodies. There are multiple reasons for women to want to terminate their fetus. First, financial and socioeconomic factors can be their main concerns. Either the women can foresee financial restrictions or the “baby” will be born into a world of poverty and neglect. Thus, by terminating the fetus, the women are actually saving a person for being born into less than favorable conditions.


With this in mind, many of these abortions will help eliminate the future suffrage of another person being born into conditions that they would be unable to succeed in.

Further, whether it is a financial reason or a timing reason, the fact that women have the option to choose whether they continue a pregnancy or not will be in the best interest of their future family.

In addition to financial reasons, many women are not prepared for a child. Many abortions are performed on younger women that are unqualified for motherhood. Generally, they are still in school or unwed. These women could resort to desperate measures if they are forced into having these children. In many cases, abortion can be seen as far way to protect the futures of these “fetuses” and allow these women the opportunity to prepare themselves for the responsibility of caring for another human.

The next factor is rape. Rape is a common reason for abortions. If a woman is raped and becomes impregnated and is forced to continue with the pregnancy, the child could serve as a constant reminder to the mot
