The Crucible

Many people in this universe come off as deceiving and egotistical. The

characteristics of a person illustrate who they are. However, a person may have another

story behind it. In the tragedy play by Arthur Miller, The Crucible depicts how lives are

manipulated and lives are held accountable for serious crimes. Lives are taken for granted

and the only thing left is the truth. However, one courageous man believes this is not true.

John Proctor believes a good name is more precious than life itself.

Often times through a commitment, someone or something has the tendency to

break a vow. And, when that vow is broken, there is no turning back to what was done.
