hen builds her back up again making her an exceptional product of his scheme. It is evident that many characteristics of Katherine’s personality have improved such as her conduct and social skills. Katherine’s love and emotions toward Petruchio have also deepened despite of his cruel treatment toward her. She respects others but deeply respects Petruchio calling him “sir” (V.i.150), and “love” (V.i.154), rather than calling him a “buzzard” (II.i.219), and a “fool” (II.i.272), as she did when they first met in II.i. She has matured and come to love Petruchio as he has also come to love her in spite of their horrendous wedding and rough beginning.
