Cloning

Quick, you were just in an accident and you severely damage your heart and destroy a few vital organs, what do you do? If cloning were possible the doctors could have opened up a freezer get some of your cloned organs and quickly piece you back together. Cloning raises many questions in ethics. For example, Christainity, as well as other religion, has the belief that man was created by God, and only he has the power of life. Is it right for us as mortals to achieve immortality? Would it be ethical for us to make a clone just for the use of self improvement?

With good news come bad however, and cloning is not an exception. Perhaps the most important question is, to sum it up, ethics. Will you be willing to sacrifice a living and breathing creature for your own welfare? That is the question that burns in our minds. Will you be able to clone yourself just to harvest your organs? What about the lives that has to be lost for research? Also what about people who want to live for all eternity; a few select people can simply pay a hefty sum and clone themselves. Who has the right to clone oneself to keep on living? Though I did say cloning will have a tremendous impact on the scientific field, just who could afford it?! Think of it
