Rivers Cuomo of Weezer

When you think of Rivers, most people think of a stream or a body of water. I on the other hand think of great music. That is because I think of Rivers Cuomo, the songwriter, lead guitarist, and lead singer for the rock band Weezer. I find Rivers’ life story to be amazing.

Rivers was born in Yogaville, a small Connecticut farming county on June 13, 1970. Rivers was an active boy, participating in soccer as a boy, even though he was born with one leg 44mm’s shorter than the other. Soccer was Rivers’ life because he was raised around it. I once heard "Music is the wine that fills the cup of silence." I don’t know about you, but I feel music is very important and everyone should have some type of music in their lives. Listening to Weezer and following around Rivers’ life story have inspired me to stick with your dream and never stop following it, even if it seems that it is impossible to attain. It doesn’t matter that we are from (location). Who has ever heard of Yogaville, Connecticut? What matters is that you have a positive role model and a dream that y
