Specific Purpose: To inform my audience of the famous attractions of Madrid, Spain

I. Have you ever wanted to go to Madrid, Spain but don’t know what to do once you get there?

II. Bullfighting, and The Royal Palace are just two of Madrid’s famous attractions.

III. Today I will discuss three popular tourist attractions of Madrid.

A. Las Ventas, a building where bullfighting is located and the best time to go.

B. The Royal Palace and some interesting facts about the Palace itself.

C. The Prado Museum and how it is one of the most popular museums in the world.

I. Bullfighting is a very popular sport in Madrid as well as a famous attraction.

A. Madrid's main bullring is called Las Ventas.

2. According to Antonio Ballavas, a museum curator, the Prado Museum is “one of the best museums.”

1. The best time to see a bullfight in Madrid is during the months of May and June.

2. Since the inevitable lack of space, the Museum can only exhibit in its two adjacent buildings: the Villanueva Building where the majority of the works are housed, and the Cason del Buen Retiro.
