Technological impact on work practice - Computer Maintenance
‘Well! It’s a computer maintenance business. Virtually everything under the topic of technology would be associated with this field of industry.’ (Or something along those lines) anyway… The major technology in this business is computers. My Dad and brother are in the business, and you’re telling me! I don’t want to hear anything about what they have to do, but anyway I’ll just stop babbling and get to the point now. The technologies used in this workplace are basically, knowledge, computers and their insides (or commonly know as… hardware), tools like screwdrivers and then the software. Some technologies associated with this type of business but usually with others as well include; cars or vans, mobile phones and pagers, and the good old paper and pen.
Now I’m not really sure if you could call knowledge a technology, but if that’s all your thinking about and it has to keep getting updating all the time, it’s basically like technology. Now the hardware or
