When a teacher prepares one for highschool all they talk about it is how college is so much more work. What they do not explain is how some community colleges are easier than a four year college. The average student at a four year college spends about three to four hours doing homework and or studying for tests. Their reading material is much more difficult than a student that attends a community college. The average student is supposed to spend around two hours doing homework and reading each night, but almost of the material that is assigned is not that difficult. Students that go to a community college also have more free time because they do not need to concentrate as hard on homework.
