             II. Statement of creditibility: Bob Marley was an inspiration to millions all over the globe. Bob Marley gave the world brilliant and evocative music; his work stretched across nearly two decades and yet still remains timeless and universal. Bob Marley & the Wailers worked their way into the very fabric of our lives.
             III. Preview of main points:.
             A. In a small town in St. Ann a legend is born.
             B. After a bad producer and no pay, Bob and friends started a band called Wailing Wailers.
             C. Made their first and own label called Wail 'N' Soul. After a couple of songs dropped, their label folded and put the band into disaray.
             D. Bob went to Island Records Basing Street Studios to see if he could get his band signed. Chris Blackwell signed them on the spot and gave them 8k pounds to fly back to Jamacia and start recording.
