The delivery man who travels to Laurel affects the actions of Mitch and Stella towards Blanche. When he tells Stanley of Blanche’s reputation of staying at the Flamingo it makes him suspicious of her. Stanley tells this to Mitch because he is his friend and doesn’t want him to get hurt. Instead of Blanche and Mitch getting married, Mitch ends their relationship. Mitch can’t trust Blanche anymore because she lied to him.. If the delivery man had not told this to Stanley they would have probably gotten married because Mitch would have never known the truth.
