Albert Einstein biography
14 March 1879 in Ulm, Wurttemberg, Germany 18 April 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey, USA Einstein was born on march 14, 1879 in UIM, Wurttemberg, Germany. The son of Paullina Koch and Hermann Einstein. He first realized the wonders of science at the age of four, when his dad showed him a compass. Einstein was impressed by the mysterious behaviour of the compass, and that no matter which way you turn it the arrow always pointed in the same direction. Einstein later said, "that experience made a deep and lasting impression on me". Later in his life as a kid, Einstein's uncle Jacob introduced him to mathematics and specifically, equations. 1886 Albert Einstein began school in Munich, he also had religious education at home where he was taught Judaism. School was an not a good experience for Einstein. He hated how war strategies were taught at school and he didn’t like the military discipline that prevailed in most German schools. The teachers weren't so happy about how Einstein was doing and once, one of his teachers told him; "you know Einstein, you will never amount to anything. A week before his death, Einstein wrote his last letter to Bertrand Russell. in it he agreed that his name should go on a proposal urging all nations to renounce nuclear weapons. It is appropriate that one of his last acts was to argue, as he had done all his life, for worldwide peace.
