The Marijuana Debate

The banning of intoxicating and otherwise inebriating substances in America dates back to the

1920's, in which the production and sale of alcoholic beverages became illegal under the 18th amendment.

in the lottery and state liquor and cigarette stores, marijuana could be sold in packs with minimal markup

and could still beat out any possible competition on the street (Time Magazine, Month year, page #).
