Taked for granted
Ever since this country has been established, it has been prospering, growing, and has become one of the most powerful countries in the world. Most people in America have what they want, ranging from cars to homes and from cd’s to the most extravagant furniture. Many people live comfortably. Excluding the unemployed, homeless, and the lower class that is on welfare or struggling to get by, this country’s people have it pretty well. Although most of them take what they have for granted. They don’t realize how lucky they are to stay warm during the winter, keep cool during the summer, have a roof over their heads, and be able to do what they want. Also American people are fake patriots, they turn patriotic in times of misfortune, such as September 11, or the war. In other countries American people are viewed as, ignorant, stuck up, not caring, selfish, lazy and fake. American people have been known to be very ignorant and naive. They consume more than half of the worlds resources and when a regular person is asked about that their reply is usually “hey why not if we can”. American people have also been known to be very aggressive, people think that all they want to do is fight as soon as something
Vietnam conflict, why did 58,000 soldiers had to die in over ten years? Many of them died because the Country refused to declare war. So the soldiers before engaging in a fight had to get permission from many people so they could fight, which in many cases injured or killed many soldiers by the time they got permission. Not even looking at the wars this country has the highest death rate by guns than any other at over 11,000. patriotic if they just don’t care about anything that doesn’t concern them. This country is wonderful, and offers many great opportunities, it gives a person a chance to live a good lifestyle and do with their lives what they want. This country also has many more freedoms than any other country. But that is what may be wrong with the country. People have so many freedoms that they become ignorant, not caring, lazy, fake patriots etc, and their excuse is “because I can and its my right”. May this be the downfall of the country in the future if people don’t start to care or will it make the country become even stronger and better? Can these people be turned around and made to care? Of course people just need to be showed that what they do really matters, and that they need to do something that’s bigger than them and that they can
