The Amazon is located in Brazil. It is the largest rainforest in the world. It covers a total area of X km2 and makes up a total of X% of the total amount of rainforests. The rainforest holds a total of 2/3 of insect’s species. It also holds many different specifies of animals including…and many different tribes of indigoes people. It conations many different recourses such as medicine, wood, food and mines. Many different companies wish to exploit it such as multi national company such as MacDonald’s would chop down the trees and graze there cattle there. Miners would need to dig holes that would take away the trees and logging people would need to cut down the trees. They would all need roads, which would result in more trees being cut down. There machinery would cause pollution, which would get into the atmosphere and pollution, which would get into the water. I suggest that we have an area for the animals and plants that people could not cut down. When people cut a tree down they should plant two other also when they do “hack and slash” they should decrease the area they burn down and leave the area to recover for much longer.

If global warming continues at the rate it is going the polar ice caps will melt which could result in the flooding of Lake Michigan. If there is less oxygen in the air it will disrupt the water cycle, which will affect other plants and animals outside the rainforest. For all we know we could have already lost the cure for cancer or Aids. If we do not stop rainforest destruction even our generation will be strongly affected.

Long-term damage you have to chop down trees for the open space, which would cause global warming and you would need to cut down even more for the road. The land will not be able to have the plants grow back
