Hitler

During 1919 the cause of the tragic World War 1 was ultimately believed to be Germany. The blame of the outbreak of war was placed upon the previously respected nation causing anger, turmoil and division to spread throughout the country. All power was withdrawn through the punishments of the Treaty of Versailles leaving Germany utterly demoralised. However a deceitful, clever and desired messiah slowly began to gain strength and power throughout Germany. "He was a messiah that thousands and thousands of brains pictured, millions of voices called for and one single German soul craved." Hitler rose from his first unsuccessful revolt into an invincible dictator who fed on the support from the people and the Nazi Party. With the use of propaganda this support grew by bringing hope to the demoralised society. The formation of the Hitler Youth provided the children and adolescents with importance and pleasure whilst the altered education system cleverly taught and encouraged the Nazi ideas. Fraudulent Laws and Acts were put into practice and unjust ideas regarding the superior Aryan race were made to be believed. Communists, Jews, homosexuals, gypsies, blacks and the mentally ill were unjustly undermined or eliminated. Hitler's power was portrayed by his confidence that he could achieve anything and even take over the world. .
Following the occurrence of World War 1 the glories of Germany had diminished leaving the country discouraged, angry and unstable. "Germany had to face up to the results of four years of fruitless warfare" as the nation previously recognised for its well-trained, powerful army was now in political, social and economic turmoil." Germany was blamed for the uprise of World War 1 and was punished by the conditions of the Treaty of Versailles determined by the triumphant powers Britain, France and America. The treaty resulted in the country being stripped of its air force, thirteen percent of its land and all of its overseas colonies including Alsace and Lorraine.
