Family values are more important than anything else, because in my personal value is that parents is the reason of our existence so for that reason we have a sort of invisible debt towards them. We are responsible and it is our duty to take care of our parents. I believe also, if she would have run off with Frank to the unknown world, eventually she would have regretted her act. He was maybe too rough on Eveline in order to accelerate her decision; letting her the time to think of her situation and think of what is more important to her, would had been more reasonable.
