Descriptive essay

There it lay on the bed on Nancy Jones, was a teddy bear, that had belonged once to her one and only daughter Amelia. The teddy bear was old and ragged. It only had one eyes, and its arm that had been sown a million times before was falling off again. When Amelia was only twelve years old she was diagnosed with leukemia. Amelia was very sick and couldn't attend school, hang out with friends, or even so much as use the washroom by her self. Amelia was a very pretty girl. She had blonde curly hair, the bluest eyes that everyone could ever have. The only thing that got in the way of it was that she had a very evil disease, that could only be treated with the medication that made her look anorexic, made her hair fall out, and everything else.

The teddy bear was boughten for Amelia when she was about nine years old. Her favorite Aunt Sandy bought her the teddy bear when she was in the hospital, to make her feel better about being in a rotten place. She took the teddy bear everywhere's, it was her pride, made her want to not give up on her own life, made her feel that she wasn't alone. The teddy bear kept her company when no one else did. It was her one and only friend.

She couldn't believe what she was seeing. God looked so unlike she had seen or even imagined. She didn't really care about all that. All that matter was that she was with her family, friends, and God. Nothing else mattered, she was happy and so was her family. She got what she away's wanted, and that was to have her family all back together.

On April 21st 1987 Amelia passed away. She had been fighting this horrible disease for almost seven years. Now the widowed mother without a daughter, sat in the hospital room, eyes filled with big tears, prayed that she would be taken safely into the arms of God. She prayed that God would look after her, and do all the things for her that she couldn't. She didn't want to see her daughter go, but it was her time to go, and she trusted that God would take very good care of her. That night when Nancy went home, she has Amelia's teddy bear, it was the only thing that her daughter had cherished so, Nancy decided that it was her job to keep the teddy bear, and she kept it where she coul
