Freedom

Freedom…..what does that word mean to you? To me freedom is not just a word it is a privilege that I have as a citizen of the United States of America. It is a luxury that I as an American citizen am able to enjoy as a result of the blood that has been shed to establish this great nation. Regardless of how each citizen has attained his or her right to be free, we all must protect and defend our rights all the same. And that is our obligation to freedom.

In order for each and every citizen to fulfill their obligation to freedom they must first address domestic issues. For each of us to enjoy our freedom we must first feel safe no matter where we are in the country. This can only happen if we all do our best to defend one another against anyone or anything that encroaches upon our safety as a nation. Another thing that we cannot allow to hinder us

In conclusion we have talked about domestic issues that should be addressed, maintaining our equality, defending our nation, and given a model of a more disciplined and respectful society. These are just a choice few obligations that I believe us as citizens of the United States of America have to our freedom. Now I don’t expect you to run down to your nearest recruiter’s office and join the military. The only thing that I hope you gain from this is a new respect for the luxuries that you receive by being a free citizen in this country.

The armed forces show us how all of our nation should be. Just as the members in the service come together from all over the nation to fight for the same goals, each individual branch comes together with the others to defend and protect this nation, its citizens, and their rights, just how we should do in everyday life for one another. Do
