To create a Web page you need to follow four major steps. 1. The first step is deciding what content you want your Web page to feature. 2. The second step is selecting the layout and the design of your Web page. 3. The third step is saving your Web page as an HTML file. 4. The fourth step is uploading your Web page onto the Internet.(Transition: These are the four basic steps that one should follow when creating their own Web page.) {Pause} Body I. Now that you are ready to begin creating your Web page, you should begin with the first step, which is deciding on what content you want your Web page to feature. A. Web pages can be anything your heart desires, it can be a Web page about yourself, business related, a Web page about your favourite athlete, your own cooking recipes, etc. B. As an example and to make it easier for everyone to understand all four steps I will choose to create my own personal Web page about myself. 5. Now that I have chosen the subject of my Web page I will have to decide the content to put on my Web page. 6. Since this is a personal Web page I will include details about my background, several photographs, and myself. III. Now that we have decided the content of our Web page we can move on to the second step, which is to select the design and layout of the Web page. A. Selecting the design and layout of a Web page is very crucial to any web site. B. Even if your Web page contains great content, visitors might get discouraged and not continue to view your entire Web page because of the layout and how it’s put together. C.
