Many people in the world around us make significant impact on our lives in meaningful ways. Mahatma (great-soul) Gandhi was an obvious choice for me because he was not only a man of the millennium, but also an Indian political and spiritual leader was regarded as the father of independent India. His life was based on his four personal principals: respect, understanding, acceptance and appreciation. He believed passive resistance and civil disobedience were the most appropriate methods for obtaining political and social goals.
