The second nursing home visited was called “Elderly Fun House.” This place did not seem bad at all. It has a big indoor pool, a miniature golf course, a movie theater, and a game room. There were plenty of staff and they seemed very friendly. I talked too many of the patients and they seemed very happy. While talking to the administrator of the nursing home, I found out they have their own physicians office in the building and they take the patients on activities like to the park for a picnic and to museums often. Everything looked very safe in this facility. The railings were secure in the hallways and bathrooms, lighting was good, electrical outlets were covered if they were not being used, nothing was cluttered in any room,

• Finally, if there was something that could be changed about this facility what would it be? “The activities, I believe we have included to many and sometimes a few of our patients don’t seem to have enough time to relax in their bed, they are always wanting to play games or swim.”

While their I found out the visitation hours were from 8 a.m – 11:30 a.m and from 2:30 p.m until 8:30 p.m Monday through Sunday. However, I can come and sign my mom out any time for as long as I want without any problems.
