My speech is on same sex marriages. In my opinion, it should be legal, but 3 out of 4 Americans feel that it should not be legalized. The President and the majority of Americans believe that marriage is defined as a union between a man and a woman. Are they saying that love has boundaries and can only be shared by a man and a woman? We should remember that as late as the ‘70’s, 12 States still had laws forbidding marriage between whites and other races, which carried a year’s jail sentence. Hard to believe isn’t it?
