On the Inside.( Its a review of the movie the MASK from 1980
When you hear the title of a movie called “The Mask” what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Some people might say Jim Carey since he stared in a comedy movie in the 90’s called “Mask” or some other people might say something about a disguise that maybe the Indians wore during sacred rituals. Well if you said either of these you are wrong. This movie does not have Jim Carey in it, but it does have the star singer Cher and it is not about a disguise that Indians wore during their sacred rituals. Through out this whole movie there are a lot of different things that happen that help you understand the meaning of the movie. They don’t come out and make these things noticeable you just have to watch for them. When you see them it helps you understand a little bit more the true meaning of the film. To me this movie is about a lot more then just someone whose face isn’t normal and doesn’t look like anyone else’s. This movie was made to show people, how are society labels someone before we even get to know them.
