MP3 trads
Mp3’s are a good thing. A response to Curt Harris. I have personally downloaded mp3s, just like many others I know. If you look around mp3s are everywhere from news headlines to billboard ads. Many recording artists are against them stating its their music and your listening to it for free. Political actions have been taken to restrict certain downloads. So why don’t we just abolish all mp3’s? Curt Harris answered this question in his article “Napster of puppets,” published by The BG News, Harris argues the benefits of mp3 file sharing. Harris takes this position by comparing mp3s to modern day tape traders. He says it’s just like back in the old day when we used to tape record off the radio. The prices of cd’s don’t help deter people from downloading mp3s either. Harris states an example from his own life when he heard a song but didn’t know who it was. He got home searched for it on Napster downloaded it and loved it. Then he bought all his cd's and saw him in concert twice, all due to mp
