Summary: It’s Harry’s 14th birthday and his upcoming 3rd year at Hogwarts is about to start. He cuts a deal with his uncle to sign his Hogsmeade form, but it all falls apart, he ends up inflating his uncle’s sister. After being picked up by the knight bus he stays at the Leaky Cauldron until school starts, then he gets on the train with Ron and Hermione. While on the train they sit next to the new “defense against the dark arts” teacher (Professor Lupin), who lends a hand when dementors come aboard looking for the escaped prisoner from Azkaban (Sirius black). Review: This was an awesome book, it’s so much better than the first two. Much more information is learned about his father/ parents death. It sucked that Harry wasn’t able to clear Sirius name but I guess it just makes the story better because you wonder when he will return. I liked how there was more Quidditch this time around and that Malfoy got humiliated. Overall this book was a really good and the best part is the ending when he uses his Patronus. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was so good I already started to read the next one “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”.
