Teenage Curfew Laws
I have always believed that cities had curfew laws so that the entire city would be protected from certain acts that teenagers find amusement in. I felt that these laws were nothing but another attempt to keep us down and away from what we may think as fun. As I have looked into this matter more and seen that the police and other authorities are not as bad as I thought I changed my views totally. Now that I know that rather than keeping us off the streets to protect others from us they are really keeping us off the streets to protect us from others. Now I see curfew laws as something to keep me safe and keep me looking forward to something when I become of age. Unfortunately it took a situation like mine to help me realize that my views and opinions of law enforcement can sometimes be wrong. There are many pros and cons to the juvenile curfew laws being enforced on over 200 major cities in America. One pro of the juvenile curfew laws would be the fact that all teens are kept safe from certain individuals that find pleasure in harming them. Another pro is that teens the many teens that already don’t get enough sleep as it is will now be required to stay in at these late hours and will probably get a better sleep. As Alastai
