In 1992, a woman named Noaka Takeuchi created a Japanese cartoon called Sailor Moon. With it’s increasing popularity, Sailor Moon spread throughout the world and was made into books, action figures, and collector’s cards. Sailor Moon is about a 14-year-old teenager named Serena who battles evil forces as “ Sailor Moon ”. When in trouble, four other sailor scouts (Sailor Mars, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus) help her out. Together, they fight evil from the Negaverse and protect the universe. Sailor Moon, a.k.a. Serena or Tsukino Usagi (Japanese name), is Princess Serenity from the Moon Kingdom. Her mother, Queen Serenity sent her to the future Earth, to resave her.
