Throughout the history of the world there have been many crucial events that have changed the way people live. One major event that has spoiled our world forever was the Holocaust. The Holocaust occurred during World War II, by Nazi Germany. During the time of the Holocaust six million Jews were tortured and killed. Men, women and children were taken from their homes without any prior notice. They lost everything; their homes, jobs and normal lifestyles. The Holocaust was the worst genocide in history.

When they got to Auschwitz, his family was separated the women and children on one line, and the men and boys on the other. He never saw them again. When he was in the Concentration camps, He thought he was going to die. All he saw was death all around him. Babies were thrown into ovens and the children were digging holes for their own graves. Elderly people being burnt and shot. He and his father stayed together. They were very lucky because this was very rare. He went through many various stages while at the camp.
