Belief in god
These days with pop-culture and individual rights, it becomes easy for anyone to believe in God. People begin to believe in God because its cool, and denying them their beliefs would be against the law. Quality explanations to the existence of God are few, and far between. However, there were times when one had to prove his beliefs in the existence of anything at all, or face religious persecution. These times being the Dark Ages and Ancient Greece and Rome, propelled those who had faith to seek it out and study its complexities. Yes, people were allowed to have their own beliefs, but in order to believe what you did....you had to prove the existence of whatever it is you believed, or you would be ousted from society. Going along with this theme of proofs that I have established, there comes the proverbial “fork” in the road when selecting beliefs. There is also Atheism of course. Atheism is the total non-belief in god, a belief that God does not even exist. Just as anyone today could select God for the wrong reasons, people often just do not care anymore and have decided to not believe.
