             Africa is one of the largest continents in the world comprised of 52 countries. The country of Nigeria is known as one of the largest countries in Africa consisting of 36 states. Nigeria's estimated population accounts for 120 million people of which 40% of this population is of the female gender. Nigeria has an administrative governing body divided into a 3 tier government: Federal government, 36 state governments and 774 local governing bodies. This large country has many cultures with a diversity of indigenous languages still spoken by many of its people, although today, English has become the official language of Nigeria. The three primary traditional indigenous languages that are still spoken in Nigeria are: Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo. In order to show how the .
